Ambiance, as a character of a place, is a synthesis of the consequences of all elements of the immediate environment, including objects, people, their relationships and their inner feelings. 'In Bloom' manifests the feelings that are hard to express in words and instead become evident in one's body language or on the skin, through phenomena such as goosebumps and blushing.

Exploring this through the idea of a second skin, In Bloom reveals the warm inner layer that is camouflaged by the cold outer shell as another person gets closer to the one wearing the skin. It is a metaphor for social anxiety and the unsaid.
